Why electrical fitment needs extra care

Oxygen sensors, crankshaft sensors, camshaft sensors, ABS sensors, switches and ignition components can look similar across multiple applications. A part may have the same housing shape but a different connector, cable length or signal design. Fitment should never be confirmed from a photo only.

  1. Exact OE number and any superseded number.
  2. Vehicle chassis, engine code and production period.
  3. Connector layout, pin count and cable length where applicable.
  4. Installation location and left/right or front/rear position for wheel-speed sensors.
  5. VIN when catalog applications overlap.
